2022...Next

So we signed Macy up for Softball this spring and Sally really wanted to try tball...she could have done coach pitch, but she didnt want to. So tball it was...and it was hit and miss...She was excited to be part of a team and get her jersey...but she did not love playing. There was one time when they put her at pitcher position. The ball was hit to her and I told her to grab the ball and throw it to first. She turned around with tears in her eyes and got mad at me for yelling at her. I told her I wasn't mad and that I was just trying to help her...needles to say I stayed quite from then on. But her dad came to another game and he was doing the same thing as me but she took his advice. She sure is a daddy's girl.

There were some times when she smiled...I take that as a win...There were also some times where she sat down in the field and did not want to do anything...but then was happy when it was over...it was so hot and cold, but I am proud of her for trying.
She even let her dad help her in the backyard, hitting off the tee. She wouldn't let me try to help though. That's okay...
Macy had her last year of coach pitch...she did pretty good. She connected with the ball at almost every at bat, her balls didn't go too far but she definitely gets what to do. I hope that she can keep it up. I loved playing softball and I am glad that she likes it too.

Macy had her dance recital in the end of April. This years production was Beauty and the Beast. Macy and her class were the utensil for the Be our Guest part of the performance.
These are the professional pictures from the studio...
My parents were in town and able to come to her recital. They loved it and Macy did so good!!!

Mother's Day 2022-Same was out of town so it was just the kids and I at church. They did pretty good. I haven't always loved Mothers Day but today was not too bad.
Teddys 7on7 team did well this year during the regular part of the season but lost in the semi-finals. They should have won but just did not do the best for a few moments in the last game. Hopefully next year will be better.

Macy had the best little group of friends. I am grateful. Having a good friend is so rewarding and she has three. Such good kids!!!
We made it...we made it through another year of school and I made it though another year of word. I don't know if I mentioned I worked with a different teacher this past year. The first teacher I worked with got a new job. I was happy though because the teacher from this year was also a second grade teacher, so I knew her. It ended up being a good year.
Sam coached Teddys baseball team this spring. They did okay for their first time being together as a team. They played against teams who have been playing together for years. Teddy started off at pitcher and first base but the pressure go to him while pitching. He ended up finding his place as catcher and played that for the last half of the season.
The girls had their first Spring Recital for their singing and dance class. The theme was 50's...they performed twice...once at a nursing home in our town and once for friends and family at the elementary school. Last year the Christmas performance was held out at the town hall of a neighboring city. I liked it at the elementary school so much better. You can actually hear the girls singing more at the nursing home because its such tight quarters...but they both turned out good.
Their cute spunky director!
Random Macy...I find so many pictures on my phone like this
She is always doing something...she is a cute girl!!! Reminds me of myself, and sometimes I really hope she changes because I do not want her to be like me...

My parents were at my brothers house in June...we were able to go up for my Mom's birthday. I made a sheet cake and we brought it up.
We love Ahma...happy birthday to an awesome woman!
