2020...Year in Review...Bathroom Remodel

I had never liked our upstairs bathroom; there is actually a lot about our house that I don't love but I am grateful we have our house, so I normally do not say anything. But our bathroom needed some extra special love...and it was finally time to do something about it. The faucet in the shower always leaked even if you turned it all the way off; one day Sam decided to turn it with a wrench and he was able to get it to not leak, but I couldn't get it turned back on, so I took the wrench and tried to twist it but I broke it so we had to fix just that or do the whole thing...we opted for the later. 

BUT IT WAS ALOT HARDER THAN WE THOUGHT IT WAS...

Ugly Yellow and Ugly dark tiles all over the walls!!!

We also had to pay a big chunk of money to redo the piping and stuff downstairs...

It was actually nice to demolish it all!!! 

But we had this chicken wire all around the walls that were a pain to get out...

It took us a good few months to get it completed...I did not love going downstairs to shower and go to the bathroom but I am grateful that we were able to get it completed

AFTER-Completed

Before we did the bathroom, there were alot of things that Sam wanted to redo...now, not so much!! I wish we had money to do more and pay other people to do it but we don't so we will do what we can and be okay with what we have!!! I find myself comparing to other people and the things that they have compared to what I dont have and I know I can get myself into trouble. I have been blessed and I need to remember that!!
