Teddy has been waiting for the day he could play tackle football. In our town you can start when your going into 4th grade. He has been on the same football team but playing flag for the last two years...so the boys knew each other and we had some beast boys on the line and they just played great. Sam helped coach the team as well as the offensive coordinator. Something he wanted to teach the boys was the same offense that they run in high school; starting them young will help them when they get older.
Teddy had a few moments during the season where he lost some confidence in himself but he was able to work through it. Something else he had to learn about was the different from being hurt and injured. If his leg gets stepped on, its going to sting for a minute but it doesn't mean you have to exit the game.
His team lost only one game during the regular season and that was against Thunder Ridge. But we had a rematch in the championship game and we came out on top by one point. The final was 19-18...I was so glad they came out with the win!!! Go Teddy and Go Rigby Trojans
