When Macy
was little we would go on walks and go to the park as often as we could; I decided that I wanted to get
Teddy out of the house each evening because we were in the house a lot during
the day with me working and everything; we tried out many different parks and
have found some that we really like. It was nice to go in the evening because
it was not too hot and Teddy loves running around; I would put Macy in a little
sling and keep her close by; we still try and get out as much as possible
A family in our ward opened up an attraction called Wild Florida last year; it’s a wild animal park and they offer airboat rides as well. My mother and sisters have been out there with the kids but we never were able to go. Our friend Porter works there and he was able to hook us up; it was fun to bring Teddy and look at all the animals; he definitely is scared of the alligators but loves turtles and bulls =)
During the summer we had a playgroup with ladies from church; it was every Wednesday for two hours in the morning; I almost did not go to the first activity but we went and ended up looking forward to it every Wednesday. We went to the pool a few times, to some different playgrounds, we went to the Serpentarium and got to see them milk snakes; we went to a fire station and a few other fun things. I was glad that we were able to get out of the house
So grateful for this dump truck that I found in my bag for one of the games; they do get long sometimes
