June and July

June flew by...We celebrated out 4^th Anniversary in June; at times it seems like it was yesterday we met and now here we are 4 years later with two amazing kids and many blessings. Life has not come without ups and downs but I definitely am grateful for good times and for what I have been blessed with. We ended up going to a movie while my parents watched the kids; it was very nice of them; we grabbed some Arby’s on the way to the theatre because we were running late; we watched the Great Gatsby; it was a nice evening

July was a busy month...We were alone on the fourth of July this year; my family was in Utah; I wish I would have gone out there; but just did not have the money to do so. My husband had to work during the day but we ended up going out to the church ranch for dinner, rodeo games and fireworks. It was very nice of our Friday Renee for inviting us to celebrate with their family.

 I turned 28 this year; I cannot believe it; my birthday was really just like every other day in that I had to work and everything, but I got some balloons my the porch in the morning and we went out to dinner and to a move in the evening. My husband was able to get off work by 5 and we went to Longhorn Steakhouse and then to the movie Now you See Me; it was interesting; glad we were able to get out of the house.

I put Teddy in swimming lessons in July; overall it ended up being okay; he really does not like water…since he was only 1 and a half, he had to be in the parent tot class, so an adult had to be in the water with him. The first day he sat and waited for his name to be called but cried when we got in the water and throughout the first lesson; he cried almost every day but it did get a little better; I had my husband come one day and we both got in with him; in the end his favorite part was reaching for the wall and then doing the wall walk; and of course playing with the toys at the end. I am glad that I now know what they do to teach the kids and I can go to a pool and work on it with him whenever I want.

This was after dropping off Macy at a friends house...he is so sensitive; he also wanted to stay at their house!!!
