Photo Update and 18 Months

Well February and March went very fast

One day it was super cold and baby and I both had on our hoodies...I had to snap a photo of the both of us

I look back alot and find him striking a pose...today he was just chill-axed...and resting his head on his arm

 I LOVE A SLEEPING BABY...this is one of my hashtags (#) on instagram and there are so many funny picture of baby boy sleeping...The photo above on the left is one you do not see often, if you look closely he has some food in his right hand...he fell asleep while eating and that normally does not happen...the picture on the right is one Saturday morning he must have had a bad dream or something because he screamed out and normally he will calm down or comfort himself but this morning I had to get him...I was tired still so I thought I would see if he would go down by me and sure enough he did. I love that he is snuggled up with his Teddy and has his cute little ankles crossed.

 One day he was not feeling well and fell asleep in my arms at my desk...I decided to bask in the moment and move to the couch where he slept on my arm for another 30 or so minutes...so precious

The past two years my friend Wende and I have gone out to Subway for her birthday...we had a good time...last year Teddy was a baby, this year he is still my baby but is such a big boy...I made this little collage of both years, nice tradition!!!

My husband had to work late on Valentines day...so it was just me and my little man...and my sister who we went out to eat with...at the restaurant  they had flowers for the ladies...and Teddy decided they were for him...He looks so cute in this picture!!!

 I always find him in the funnies spots...today he decided to sit in his toy basket...and brush his hair...he also loves dogs and cats...here we visited a friend who has a cat...and he loved it...my friends son and I tried to get teddy today say kitty or cat but he would not do it...low and behold he was listening to us...see below:

I had to pick up a work order at Staples one day...Teddy was being his normally funny self and he looked over at a poster and said ball...I saw that there was a basketball...after a little while he kept saying "dat, dat"...I was so confused until I turned around and say this picture of a little kitty...he had remembered it from a few days earlier...such a smart kid!!!

 

 He LOVES to brush his teeth...which I am glad he likes 

 He spends a lot of his time in my office with me...he loves my little bookshelf behind me...he is not sleeping in this picture but he loves to lie down there... =)

  Somedays when he wakes from his nap he entertains himself for a little bit...this day I came in to find him sitting like this with his legs crossed and waiting for me...he was being so funny!!

 Teddy loves being outside...the picture above we were waiting for Grandpa to come home so we could take him to the airport and he got out the scooter and just stood there waiting for something to push him around. Aunt Ashlee normally is the one who does this...I do too but its hard to push him at times...he also loves driving with daddy.

 He knows how to wiggle out of his straps if they are even remotely loose...I try to keep them tight but one day I cam out to find them around his ankles...not the best place and the safest to be...there was also a day when he pooped in the tub so I put his towel on him while I cleaned up the bathroom...I came out to him just standing there watching the boob tube...what a cute little monkey!!!

 He is obsessed with the lamp in the bedroom...he will go in there and talk to himself through the reflection. I wish I knew the conversation he was having with himself. He also loves books...this one day I gave him the book and he was flipping through the pages and I hear him saying many of the things in the book...num num, baby, duck, ball, vroom vroom, dat...and a few more...I LOVE THIS KID!!!

 He loves his bike and will ride it around the house...he knows how to use his feet to get it to move...he cannot peddle yet but he sure can get around.

 My sister also gave him this bike that I can push...we will go on walks and he is in heaven

 He likes the racing car cart at Publix...one Saturday evening he was tired but I had to get something for Sunday dinner...so we hurried in and I was about to put him in the regular cart when he say this one on the side. It was about closing time but he was adamant that this is the cart he wanted...one of the nice workers helped me move some other carts to get to this one...he sure was a happy boy inside.

One day I had to get something finished for work and then had to get a deposit ready...I opened up my envelopes of checks and passed them to him on the floor...he was in heaven with all the trash to go through...haha

 We have started to go to the park most evenings...or I should say a park...I have tried out a few different ones and all I can say is he is the slide king and hates the swing...We have a nice time...my husband has been working late and so its a perfect thing to do in the evenings to get us out of the house

 One day I left the laundry in the living room and came back to this... mischievous kid...wonder where he gets it...um, definitely his mother

 One night I came into his bedroom and found him like this...he was totally sleeping but had both his arm and leg out of the crib...I had to snap a shot...I could take a picture of him every night but I try and limit it

Tuesday nights we still head up to watch my husband play ball, Teddy loves it...and will give each of the players a fist bump while they are on deck...they love him

One game it was so COLD...his fingers were frozen...he found the pocket in his sweater and kept his fingers in there for a while...so cute!!!

They made it to the championship game this season...they played a double header...it was a long night but fun at the same time. They lost in the final game but made it farther then they ever have...and got a trophy to show for it. I love how Teddy is the little mascot and gets to be in the final picture!!!

BEFORE

 This love seat lasted a good while with us but it was time to GO...I had to sweet up the little black pieces like five times a day...we had been looking for a couch for a little while but not really actively doing it. We wanted to find something nice but not too pricey. We got so lucky and are so grateful for my father and his connections. We had a person from church selling their sectional at a great price, we could not let this deal pass us by...there is one piece of the sectional that we did not include, so nice that it was one that you could remove a section and it would still work...I was not the biggest fan of how much it stuck our from the corner wall in the back but I have come to LOVE it in our house and it makes such a big difference.

AFTER

Last year my father and I went to the ranch rodeo, but this year he could not make it...I did not want to drive out there all by myself but we ended up going and it was nice. He got a little freaked out at the beginning with the horses as they went by, but he warmed up to everything and was just memorized sitting on my lap...I am glad that I took him...I want to try and find the picture form last year...I think its on my dads phone...I want to compare my boy from one year to the next...the picture above makes him look so BIG!!!

WELL WE MADE IT TO 18 MONTHS...how can my child be a year and a half...and at church that means...NURSERY

 Well it did not turn out how I had planned. He has gone in a few times as trials and one time he did great when my sister Ashlee was in there but the other times had a hard time. Saint Patrick's day in particular was his first OFFICIAL day...During sacrament his got very mad and I had to take him out...he would not stop crying...I ended up driving him around the church a few times and he fell asleep. He did not sleep that long and so I dropped him off and decided to just see how he would do...HE HATED IT...he screamed for a while and I took him out...and then he went back in for snack time and he did ok, but still had moments...one time I looked in the window and say him sitting on the leaders lap reading a book with all the others kids around. She said that he had a meltdown because daddy looked through the window...my husband said he did not look through, so I guess it was someone that reminded him of his daddy...so now we get to not look through the window... =( hopefully he gets us to it...
 

We also shaved his head again...I was expecting to have a little bit more hair but instead of a 2 guard my husband  had a 1 on the clippers and boy it was short...but he looked good and it is growing now...

Happy 18 months to my Teddy bear...you are so full of life and the center of our world...you love people and they love you...you light up my life and I am so happy that I have you!!!

 I know you wont like this later but I was at the store the other day and had to see what baby M might look like...I say if she looks like Teddy, she will be darlin!!! Our little miss will be here next month...CRAZY
