Harts Visit, Shower and Baby Update

Let me tell you about the picture below...when I got home from my 18 month mission for the LDS church I had 14 bins of stuff...and stuff it was...so many random things. My bins had been in storage at my aunts home in Utah and my sisters helped me go through everything and I got it down to 2 bins...When I got engaged and moved to Texas, I brought my two bins with me. When I decided to move back to Florida I left the bins in the garage at my husbands house because I did not have room to bring them with me home. So at that time my husbands brother and his wife also were storing some stuff in their garage and when they moved to Alaska guess what went with them...my two bins...So for the last 3 and a half years they have been in Alaska. There were times I would think to myself, I know I have this or that and then realize they were in the bins...my husband got sick of me saying, O I wish I had my stuff back...they were heavy and it was not an option to ship them back to us even though I thought about it. So his brother and wife moved back to Texas this past November and were able to bring the bins back...over Christmas I was able to go through them and it brought back a flood of memories of college and other things. I had pictures and clothes and books and more in these bins and it was fun to remember. We could not bring them back to Florida after Christmas but my husbands parents were able to bring them up to Kansas and we were able to bring them home...I went through them more and now the books are on the shelf and the clothes are being gone through...its weird that they were gone so long and now they are finally back in my possession...YAY
So we got home from Kansas around 2am on Sunday the 31st and the next few days were a little rough on Teddy...he was off his rocker and most of the day he spent by my sad pretty sad

Even crying and sad, I love this kid...he is such a tropper...he still has a lingering cough that keeps him up some nights but we make it work...he puts up with a mamma that works and tries her best to give him as much attention as she can...He is so awesome!!!
One morning he came into the bedroom giving his Teddy a ride =)

So my sister Lindsay and her kids came down for Easter and spring break. This was the second year since being married that we were not here for Easter...but hey, that's okay...my family has matched on Easter for however long I have been alive and this year they looked so pretty...I think I would have ruined the pictures if I had been there =)
When we drove up for the first time, my mother was giving Harper a stroller ride and we decided to get out and ride out bike...it was fun to see them interact...Teddy needs to start learning that he is no longer going to be the little one in the house...he is going to be joined by a little princess =)
Teddy loved paying with Braden and Gavin...they were so nice to him
All the girls got pedicures for Easter and I had a prior engagement the day they were going to get them done...so my father and I went an hour earlier to start so I could make my meeting.
My legs and feet have started to swell...you cannot tell by this picture but they are getting huge again... =(
The girls joined us right as we were finishing...it ended up being nice and relaxing and I now have toes that will be nice during labor...haha
My mother watched the kids while we got our pedicures...she sent this picture of Harper and Teddy trying to play nice...Teddy has learned to say no and take things...and he did that alot... but he is learning to share as well and that is good

So when my sister knew she was coming down she wanted to do something special for us...and we decided we wanted to paint the room that Teddy sleeps in...it is purple right now and my husband does not like it...but then we got thinking that in the next 6 months or so, his room will then be baby's room and I am kinda going with a purple theme, so we decided to keep that room the same and tackle the kitchen... Tuesday night we went to home depot and got some paint...at first I wanted a bluish gray and we then decided on more of a neutral gray and it turned out to be AWESOME...
 BEFORE: POOP BROWN
AFTER: subtle gray!!!
The color we chose was called mindful gray and it makes the whole kitchen brighter...it was so nice of my sister to take a day to come and help...my mother watched the kids for the morning and I went and got Teddy for his nap...he went down and we were able to get it all done...
Action Shots!!!
Thank you again to my mother and my sister!!!

While painting my sister said she wanted to take some maternity photos as well...she said she wanted to come by the next day and shoot some shots by my house and then out at my parents. I said ok and she came over and did my hair and make up and we took some photos and then we headed to my parents where I was shocked to see family and friends waiting, gathered for a surprise shower in my behalf...I should have seen this coming, there were definitely signs now that I look back...it was so nice of them and so nice of all those who showed their support and love

Here are some of the photos that were really just a guise to get my all dolled up and over to my parents...who knows, I might have just shown up in sweat pants...I am definitely not the girly type and not prone to make up and getting dressed up, so it was nice of her to help me out!!!
I pulled up to the house to see all these wonderful people waiting for me and I was kinda shocked and embarrassed as I pulled in...I love all these women, they are so wonderful!!!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SHOWER WAS AMAZING!!! I am so grateful to all those who helped and be there to celebrate baby m... I am also grateful for my husband for watching Teddy and my father who helped with my nephews...they were life savers as well

The food was so yummy and everything was very nice...we got so many fun things my baby m and I just cannot wait to meet her!!!
LOVE!!!
Friday I got my first try and being a mother of two, thanks to a surrogate in little miss Harper...My sister and the boys headed up to downtown Disney and I got to watch this little. It turned out to be fine...I had to go to the office to get somethings for work and I was so grateful that Annette was there to help out...she watched the kids for me while I did my thing...so nice of her

This is going to be my view soon...LOVE IT
Teddy loved going in and getting Harper up from her nap...they both took GREAT NAPS...I hope this is something that Teddy continues to do well at!!!

Ok, let me tell you the funniest thing...my sister said that Harper does not really have any stuffed animal that she likes and has never taken to something in particular...well when she was at our house she fell in love with Teddy's Teddy...and can you imagine how it turned out when he would realize that she had his Teddy...it was comical at times...she would get so sad when he would come up and grab it and say no...we tried to share as best as we could...even the next two days at my parents she LOVED the Teddy as well...so cute

Speaking of LOVE and cant wait to meet my little lady...here are some update photos...this time around I have tried to get one a week, haha...yeah, definitely probably have more than that, but that's okay!!!
 35 and 36 weeks
37 and a half weeks
I went to the doctor today...my legs and feet are swollen so bad again and my hands are also painful 24/7...I have not slept in a few nights and its taking its toll on me. I would rather have her here and not sleep then be up all night in pain and not sleep...the doctor really cant do anything until 38 weeks unless it was life threatening and I guess a little pain is not all that bad, SORTA!!! but anyway, I have to wait until Saturday and do a 24 hour urine test and then see what happens; I have my next appointment in a week and I know he will take her if she has not come before then...so the end is in site...I will just be thinking about holding a precious girl while my hands are throbbing and my feet expand to the point where I feel they will pop...its pretty comical I think...I do not show that much in the belly but I certainly gain a lot in other extremities and especially this water weight at the end...CRAZY... but again, we can do hard things and for me this is hard but bearable...and there are so many people who have it far worse then me...I can't complain even though its easy to do so...Everything will work out as it should!!!  I am grateful again for a loving family and friends who have made this last little while special!!!
