I got back from Utah on Tuesday the 31st of July...and most of my family was in town. Taylor and Ann flew in the day before, Ashlee got back from Qutar and Lindsay and the boys came down from Charlotte. The reason why, was because Elder Clark was coming home from his mission. He came home on Tuesday August 2nd. It was very fun to see him. I cannot believe that two years has passed. He got to meet Teddy as well as Harper and Levy. Him coming home started a few week of tons of family happenings.
This is a picture of my nephew Braden when I got home from my mission in 2007...he was 2 at the time
This is a picture of Braden today when Tanner from home from his mission here in 2012, he is almost 7 now...CRAZY how fast time flies and how big everyone is getting...when I got home from my mission there were only Braden and Gavin and Benton was almost here...now we have added Zoe, Teddy, Harper, Levy, Josie and another one on the way...yay

RAYS GAME
We stopped at a Marshall's and Ross on the way and Anne and I bought Rays shirts...trying to represent. I do not even remember if we won or lost, I spend a lot of the time out with Teddy walking him around in the stroller...lucky I brought it in...

| Tired Boy |

We got to go to our first baseball game as a family. My husband and I went to a game a year or so ago but this time it was with Teddy and my whole family. I am not the biggest fans of live games but it was nice. After the game we got to go onto the field for the center shuffle and walk out the gates or whatever they are called in center field. Taylor did Levy's trick in front of the camera and she mad it on the jumbo tron...so cool!!! Overall we had a nice evening.
OTHER HAPPENINGS
The first Sunday everyone was here, my Sister and her husband blessed Harper in our ward. They knew that we would all be together and since she got to go to Italy to do a photo shoot when the original blessing was planned, they just decided to do it when we would all be together. We missed the Bates

| Teddy loves Uncle Ner |
We spend an afternoon at the temple
We went to the library on occasion and went on walks most days
Teddy started getting into everything...I found him one afternoon in this drawer!!!
We had a flat tire one evening after Family Home Evening at the Browns...we did not have a jack and our spare tire was flat. Lucky my Sam and PJ went over to the gas station down the road at put air in the tire. My father helped us get a new tire and the car drives a little better now.

| The Many Faces of my Boy |
 |
| He started to climb out of his highchair, we did not have straps so that was not a good thing |
Teddy loves to take the clothes out of the hamper...I definitely do not mind him doing it to the dirty clothes but sometimes he unfolds my clean clothes too...I have to always remember to put those up high
 |
| I had to put away all of his 6 months pants...they were definitely getting a little snug...sad day, I put it off as long as I could...I cannot believe how fast time flies |
We spend alot of time out by the lake. With Lindsay's boys here and Taylor as well, who LOVE the lake it was fun. Teddy is starting to warm up to the water and will be content for a few minutes =)

| One Sunday Miss Levy and I got a little nap in after Church |
The second Sunday everyone was there, Tanner spoke in church. He did a good job, I had to walk out halfway through but I was able to stand in the back and listen. I had to go to primary after the first hour and none told me that they were taking family pictures, so we grabbed a shot after the block of meetings
 |
| This is Teddy's new face...he is starting to copy anything you do |
 |
| We played the game spoons one night with the Jazzies...we had not played that in a while |
 |
| Teddy and his best friend Erik...he sat on his lap for a long time while reading some books...Erik is a good storyteller and makes good animal sounds. Baby was enthralled. |
Birthday lunch with Tanner. We ate at a place in town called a Touch of Basil. We all had the grilled chicken sandwich, it was ok
My big happy boy

| Chocolate Loving, anything goes at Grandma's |
I went out to eat with my friend Kelly. We went to applebee's and all I wanted was the chocolate shooter...it hit the spot...I did get some pasta too
On the way home from an elders quorum activity. I had washed Teddy's hair and put some lotion in it and by the end of the night it was wacky and crazy and sticking straight up. We ended up watching a movie and they had a nursery and that was nice. My husband actaully had to work but it was nice to be able to get out of the house and be supportive, even though he was not able to be there. We watched the second Sherlock Holmes. I was glad I was able to watch it and focus on it this time around
One Sunday night we went over to the Rapensi's house to visit. She had made cookies and Teddy ate and ate, he is just so darn cute. They also have a big bath tub outside that he and I got into...haha
One night we went out to the goodwill, I am not sure again why we ran in, just checking out a few things...and Teddy wiggled his way semi out of his straps and stood up...as you can see the strap is still clipped, he was still able to stand up...what a dangerous lad
One day he sat and watched a TV show for a few minutes sometimes he just gets glued onto what is on and will just sit, so cute

But most of the time this is what he does...he stands at the gate and watches me work and most of the time now screams and cries until I stop and go play with him...makes it hard to get stuff done but what can a girl do when a handsome lad wants to spend time with her and she wants to spend time with him...I sometimes wish I did not have to work and I could just spend every waking moment with this kid but at other times I am grateful for a job that I can help support my family and I like having the responsibility too. I feel very blessed to be in the position that I am in; there are many people that ask me how I have a job where I can stay home with my baby and still work...and all I can say is I am not sure, it is a godsend!!!
 |
| Teddy learned to climb the couch...seriously this kid is always doing something that he should not be doing. it reminds me of a someone I once knew, who did the same thing. ME |
Most days Teddy and I would go on a walk and I love looking down at his little feet and feeling so blessed that he is a part of my life. He brings joy in a sometimes dark world
LUAU
We got to go to our friends Luau at a hotel close to Universal Studios. We have gone there many times but it is always enjoyable. We brought Teddy along with us and he did a great job.

| The Whole Gang |
Teddy loves my parents house. He just loves exploring...he is starting to be more aware of all his surroundings and things...
He also loves spending time with my mother. He loves her so much and I was able to capture this special moment one Sunday evening.

| Reading with Ama |
 |
| Baking with Ahma |
 |
| Getting into Mommies Wallet...the one thing he goes for after the empty bottle. He knows how to open it up and dig through...notice he is holding the money |
 |
| One day we had a lunch at 12:00 and it was my goal to keep him up until after and then he would sleep while I put in a few hours of work. Well that did not work, because around 11 he could not hold on any longer and fell asleep. I looked over from my desk after not hearing him for a minute only to find him sacked out on the floor...precious. I LOVE A SLEEPING BABY, especially my sleeping baby |
 |
| Another thing besides dumping out the laundry is going though my bin of shoes |
He was getting a little big for this sink...lucky we are now in a home now that has a bath tub and he is liking taking baths, which is so nice. I still did love giving him a bath in the sink too!!!
 |
| LOVE THIS FACE...one date this little lad would not let me out of his sight...not even to use the restroom. Here he just sat and watched me...so precious |
Last of all was the many times we went out on our lake and went up to lake butler as well. Our friends the Munns let us go up there and use their boat. I got to wake board and ski some...here in these pictures we are on our lake and our neighbor Colin Lahue brought down his boat and took Taylor and I for some runs. I was able to get in some kneeboarding in there and was able to do my first 360 and stay up in choppy water...I am known for giving up right when I see bad water...but I tried to stick it out
Here Taylor and I tried to recreate our picture from 6 years ago before my mission where he did a back flip over me. It did not work here because the wake is covering me but if you look closely...you can see my head in the middle of the picture. We had a good time and I am grateful for my mom and sister who watched Teddy for a little bit while we went out.
August was a fun month...it went fast. Tanner was only home for two weeks until he and my parents headed out west again. They drove his car our and were able to tour his mission and get him situated at BUY...he is the first Clark to attend BYU without going to Ricks or BYU-Idaho first...smartie pants...I bet Ashlee would have been able to do it too but she did the awesome Nursing program up in Idaho...I know I did not have high enough test scores to get into BYU but I did enjoy BYU-I...It was nice to have the family home
