Beginning of October

OCTOBER FUN!!!

Well I guess the fun started still in September but continued until the end of October, over a month of fun...we found out right before Teddy's birthday that my sister Tiffani and her family were coming to visit. They currently live in Doha, Qatar and  her husband was in the process of switching companies and had to take some time off work...so they decided to head to the states. She was suppose to get here in time for his birthday but ended up coming the day after...then my sister Lindsay and her boys came down again...so all 4 girls were all home at the same time. We got to celebrate my sister Lindsay a few days after Teddy's, his is on the 17th and hers is on the 19th. 

 Teddy was happy the night of my sisters get together but started to not feel good as we were getting ready to leave, when we got home he became very lethargic and had a high fever...I gave him some medication and  all he wanted to do was be close to me.

You can so tell he was not feeling well...

He sat on my lap as we watched some television for I do not know how long. I finally was able to get him down later in the evening but he was up and down all night. Poor Kid...by morning his fever had gone down some but was still just not himself. I did not take him in because his fever was not too high anymore and he was acting fine, just clingy...by the next day he had a few more teeth and that turned out to be the cuplrit

We spent the weekend home and I kept him home from church on Sunday, he still had a fever and I did not want to take any chances...we soaked in a cold bath together and I found this cute little robe for him. He had gotten another bad diaper rash and would shake and scream when I changed his diaper. This was the solution to let him run around for a bit with no diaper on...it helped

This is what he would be like when changed his diaper...it was so sad...lucky I had some prescription butt cream left over from before and it helped...I had been using some over the counter stuff all day before I realized I had some left and had to search to find it but it was a life saver. This picture you can see a tiny bit of that red leg and bum between his right foot and the towel...I know it was painful =(

He found the only cupboard in the kitchen that did not have the child latch thingy on it. I purposely put the tupperware there so he could have a place to play...it definitely got some good use

Sotfball and Football

By Monday he was doing better and Tuesday we went out to my husbands softball game, his first one of this season...they did ok...I am not sure if they won or not, we just have a good time being outside and watching dad play ball...the team his is part of is very inconsistent but they semi have a good time. My husband got a gentelman in our ward Sam to play with him...so we carpool up and back, we have a good time... 

Also football season has started and my husband is a fan of the Oklahoma Sooners...His mother sent Teddy this  shirt last year an they were able to match. The sooners are not doing great this year...maybe next year, my husband keeps saying...I really do not care all that much about teams, all though I do secretly wish that BYU would win all their games...even though outwardly I do not care, its just a game!!!

Teddy has recently fallen asleep in his carseat almost every time we get into the car...sometime I look back and think, ouch, that must hurt and sometimes he sleeps while drinking his bottle...it is so cute!!!

Camp Fire with Smores

We spend many a day on the lake when the family was in town. My little nephews are fish and love swimming, we normally take the jet ski out of the water at night but since they had so much fun, we left it in the lake and they went on it all the time. I am usually the driver and alot of times would take them out but my mother also did a great job too

I love this picture...here are 6 or her 8 grandchildren...minus Levy in Utah and Harper was in the house not feeling well...I love seeing little Josie in Braden's arms...what a happy ama...

So much fun...my three sisters with my father on the beach...they were great cheerleaders to those on the tube...the boys also learned to kneeboard earlier in the summer when Taylor was here and they did that and tubing all day long

You would never be able to tell by the cute smile on his face but in the above picture with my mom on the jet ski, Gavin started not feeling good along with Harper, so Lindsay left that night to head back up the Charlotte and then Tiffani and her family headed out to Utah to visit her husbands family, so the family fun took a few week break... don't worry we still had a good time doing other things
