Sally's Baptism

Saturday the 15th of July was a special day for Sally. She got baptized and I hope she felt loved. Two weeks before I hurried and took some pictures of her in her pretty white dress, we made invitations and she was so brave last week to drop by some of her friends who are not members of our church. One of her friends was able to come out and it was so nice of her. I didn't get a picture of the two of them and I am super sad; but life goes one.

She had such a great group of people come out to support her. One of my sisters that was with us at the family reunions was unable to make it but we had two of my sisters and my brother and their families here. We also had both sets of grandparents and then family from my husband’s side. The talks were beautiful, and her sweet teachers were able to spotlight her as well. I wish I had a picture of Sally with her primary teachers the Bishops, they love her so much and she loves them too. He had taken Sally under his wing and I do not think she would have made it this year without them.

Our bishop and his sweet wife.

After the baptism we had a lunch at our house and it was a team effort; I was able to get some table and chairs from people in our ward and the food turned out super great. We had a friend open up a catering business a couple of months ago and he provided pulled pork, buns and coleslaw and then we had lots of sides and deserts to share. I am grateful for each and every one of the people who helped make Sally feel loved on her special day.

What a spread!!!
