We Blinked-June and July

Well like the title of this post, I blinked…we blinked…I cannot believe that the end of 2014 has come and gone...I thought I would do a little recap post of the last half of 2014
June
Orem Parade-Sam’s brother and family invited us to the Orem Parade and it was really cool; it got started late because a cannon had gone off and injured some kids and then the sound of some of the hot rod cars made out kids go ballistic and we almost had to leave but we made it and had a nice time
Fathers Day was nice, I made a nice meal and we just relaxed and celebrated with dad

Sam’s brother who lives in California came to Utah for his wife’s brother’s wedding. It was so fun to see them and their 5 year old son Liam. They came over one night and we got to catch up and then we all met up at a park in Provo for all the cousins to play. Teddy loves his cousins
The Howes came out to Utah for a visit in June; we headed to Layton to play for an afternoon...Teddy loved seeing Gardner, they had fun playing at McDonalds
We went to the Pleasant Grove Rodeo and Teddy was in heaven...he and Jaxon loved seeing the muttin bustin and the bulls and broncs; one thing my kids did hate was the fireworks
In the end of June we went to Vegas for the wedding of one of Sam’s FHE sisters from when he went to Southern Utah University; it was a quick trip. We left Teddy with Sam’s brother and we brought Macy with us. We drove there and back in one day…wish we could have been there longer
 Randoms from June
We love visiting my grandparents- we try to go every other week...Macy is starting to really love my Grandpa
Macy is in love with shoes
July
Independence Day-we hung around in the morning on the 4th of July. We were going to go down to the Provo parade to meet Sam’s brother but the kids did not sleep well so we just stated home. We did go down to Sam’s sister in laws families house for a lunch…it was nice of her to invite us even though Sam’s brother was out of town for work. We had a nice day and the kids did semi did okay with the fireworks at the end. We were going to take a walk and see the lights from the stadium of fire, but we decided to stay at their house and watch them from there. There ended up being some fireworks closer to their house that were cool; Teddy and Jaxon had a fun time playing
My 29th birthday was in July-the day of my birthday I actually went to a baby shower of my cousin Krista…so the following day Sam and I went out to eat and to a fun center and did some mini golf, batting cages and go karts…The kids spent some time with their cousins, it was very nice of them to let the kids come
Baseball Championship-Sam continued to play on Taylors work baseball team and they made it to the championships. Monday they won their game and so they played on Wednesday too; if they won on Wednesday they would be in the final the following week...They came into the final game having no losses, the team they were playing against already had a loss…They lost the first game but needed two losses to be out, so they played the second game and won…they so were the champions…cool
Crazy side story-the Wednesday game my mom came into town and was able to see it; but I spent most of the game trying to calm a little girl who would not stop freaking out and crying. We thought maybe she was constipated; she had started a new iron supplement that they said could cause some discomfort; after her screaming the whole game but mom and sister in law suggested I take her to a care now to get it checked out; we went to one and it was a self pay no insurance taken place, so we went over to the hospital clinic and had to wait a while; she was screaming bloody murder for a while and we decided to get her undress her and get her comfortable; the moment we took her shoes off, she calmed down and stopped crying; seriously...it was her too tight shoes causing the crying. Poor kid, I wish she could have just told us what was wrong...sheesh...moral of the story, check your kids shoes before taking her in, haha
My mom came to visit the last week of July-she was coming out to help Taylor and Annie move into their new house; we got to see her at the game on Wednesday evening and she came down for one afternoon/evening to spend some time with the kids. Sam and I went to play golf and she brought the kids to her sisters house for dinner and to hang out...We did meet up in Heber once to let the kids play as well, Teddy loves playing with Levy
Randoms from July-fun center and bowling

Hanging around the house...and Macy has learned to climb
My little girl will not use her legs to walk but she will pull up and climb on the couch...now I need to get her to use them to try and walk
