Catch Up: End and New Beginning

Monday there were a few people out of the office but I came in early and left for a few hours to head with the family to green meadows petting farm; its located in Kissimmee; it was great…Teddy had a blast…we got to milk a cow, hold ducks and chickens, go on a hay ride and see many different kinds of animals; we left a little early before the tour was over but the last thing we did was ride the ponies; I was a little nervous because he freaked out when he went with Sam during thanksgiving, but he watched his older cousins go and got right on and did so good =)…

 So you get to sit and hold little baby chickens...well Teddy was a little apprehensive, Gavin told him to kiss the chick and he went in for the slobber and totally freaked out...I love his face on the left...needlessness that was not pleasant for him; lucky he got over it fast at the next animal =)

 

 Well remember I mentioned above that during Thanksgiving he had a hard time getting on the ponies in Texas; well this time around he had a hard time getting off =)

 He was still pretty say for a while, I thought it was cute!!!

 I am glad that I just decided to take some time off to go; Teddy had a nice time with his cousins and loved seeing the animals; maybe next time he will want to hold the baby chickens =)

Tuesday New Year’s eve and it was the last day all together; I had to work in the morning but we got to go to the Magic game in the late afternoon. My family all went to the Chinese buffet in town but Sam was not able to make it home from work in time to go, so we met him up at the course and then drove separately. We stopped at Panera Bread for dinner and then drove up to Orlando; we parked and met my family at the arena. We parked a little farther away to get a better price and Lucky I had the baby bjorn and Macy did so good in it and Teddy sat on my husband’s shoulders. The Magic have not been all that good as of late but we had a nice time; Teddy ended  up falling asleep during the third quarter so we headed out to skip the traffic.

Sam had to work late at the course to do inventory; he had some gentleman stay and help him which was nice. He went home after and went to bed because he had to get up early the next day…The kids and I went to my parents and stayed for a while to do some sparklers but we were pretty tired; I put Teddy down and Macy and I rang in the New Year together. I cannot believe that its 2014...Taylor and his family left the day after on Wednesday and then Lindsay and her family on Friday...This trip/holiday season was nice...Teddy absolutely loved his cousins; Braden and Gavin were the bestest buddies; he loves them and they were so nice to him; he got a little rough with G-man but overall I am so grateful for the boys and how special and nice they were with Teddy; it was very fun to see Harper and Levy interact and get to see their fun personalities…it was also nice to meet Kingsley; she and Macy are 4 months apart =) Hopefully this summer we can all get together when the Bates come and visit!!!
