Happy Birthday Tina!!

A few weeks back we had a fun little neighborhood gathering to celebrate Christina's birthday. She had to work on Tuesday so we celebrated it a day early on Monday night... Our neighbors the Sniders, Pratts and 2 Munns family came over and we just had a grand time. My dads brother Brian was in town and he also put on a performance for them... Pictures below... So fun to live by such great people...

So I mentioned above that we celebrated Christina's birthday on Monday because she had to work on Tuesday, her birthday.... She was not feeling good in the morning and came home sick from work... she had a sore throat and a body ache. We called a member of our ward is a nurse practitioner and works at the hospital and she told us to go check it out. She mentioned that some of her symptoms could be related to swine flu... My mom was going to take her to the ER but then she realized that with her immune system being weak she should not go, so guess who that left ME... I ended up going to the hospital with her, we spend 5 hours in the waiting room and another with the doctor. They took a swab for a test for strep and it came back positive. She got a shot of Penicillin and we got home around midnight. I was glad that she was able to get treated and I got to study while waiting, but it was a long next day. Not a fun way to Celebrate your birthday...
