9 Months in Charlotte

Baby and I headed to Charlotte in the middle of June...it was so fun to meet my little niece Harper...she is such a doll face. My parents and sister Ashlee went as well, while my sister Lindsay went to Italy to shoot a wedding.
Teddy was the bestest little boy...My husband dropped us off at the airport at 4:45 in the morning for our 7am flight because he had to be to work by 5...I went a few days after my parents and sister because I had to finish work. So I waited to feed him until we were taxing on the runway and he was asleep before we were in the air and slept the whole flight. He did not wake up until we dinged at the gate, such a blessing. He did the same thing on the flight home...
THANK YOU SWEET BOY
Just spending time with this little lady

Teddy did pretty good at not clobbering her but at times the temptation was too strong
G-Man and Teddy were became good friends...Teddy normally HATES the bath but with a pal to play with his actually tolerated it.

Meeting little miss for the first time
Teddy learned to climb the stairs, they had to get out the gate

We went over on Sunday to visit the Forte's...I have missed seeing Joy on Sundays
We also stopped by where Jessica worked...Brooklyn's Pizza Place...they had the best tortellini alfredo, very rich but tasty
We went to the pool in the Forte's neighborhood, it is an awesome little place, like a mini water park...they have a slide, lazy river, kiddie pool and big pool...we spent 6 hours there, so fun

With the whole gang at the pool...teddy did so good, but hated the water

PINK, PINK, PINK...so I did not bring my car seat because I knew they had a few I could use...they brought the boys bigger one to pick us up but it was a forward facing one that we tried to turn backwards...it worked but then I saw this one and decided it was better, even though it was pink...We also used a pink bib when eating and he got to sleep in Harper's pink pack and play... =)

My big boy turned 9 months while we were there...my where has the time gone
The day we were leaving, we just had to take a picture of everyone
This was on Sunday...Teddy loves his cousins
Overall it was a nice break from work and everything, we got to hang out at the pool and just relax...thank you to the Harts for letting us come

Happenings

I can't believe how fast time has flown by...I am in love with my little boy...he is such a joy and a blessing in our lives
We matched one Sunday; actually I try and do it as much as I can!
One day I was working and baby boy was being a little fussy...so I put him in his walker and he was watching some Disney JR and I did not hear him for a bit and looked over and saw him sacked out...SO SO DARLING
My husband and I decided that we needed to get some gates to put up in our house because baby boy is in the discovery phase and gets into everything. My mother told me that this was exactly how I was when I was this age and it lasted for a long time. What goes around comes around. The first day with the gates he spent a lot of time standing up and looking over, he was offended that we cut him off from his exploring and he absolutely can not stand when we walk over and head somewhere else =(
My boss came into town to do a training for some properties and he decided to have a staff training as well. He wanted to have it at my parents office which is technically our office too but it would not work. So I told him he should just have it at my parents and we did. This is the picture we took at the end of the day.

My husband and I went with the youth on their baptism trip...I love going with them...we are small in numbers but they are great kids...when I was in young women we had over 40 active girls and now we really only have 6 or so...they are good girls though and I love them
My friend Kelly and I decided to leave work for our lunch break and head to get a pedicure. It took longer then an hour but it was nice and now I have nice toes for the summer.
O baby boy is starting to climb...this was before we had the gates and I was using bins to blockade him in, he is so mischievous!!!
One day baby boy got to help Grandpa in the yard...technically he was still in his stroller but he loved it...he did get to ride on the lawn mower for a little bit...he did not really show much emotion at all...but he did not cry

One Sunday we realized that we did not have any sugar left in our container...so we got to dig into our food storage and open up a can that was sealed in 2008 and it worked...YAY
Just like falling asleep in the walker baby boy has been falling asleep in such random places. I have been starting to give him a small bottle of apple juice during the day and he normally falls asleep where ever he is eating it. This time it was in the highchair and on the living room floor...this is his go to position...I will always start him on his back and he will move to this :>

Baby boy is obsessed with cords and loves to pull the cords from the TV and the DVD player...I found him one day distracted by the TV and watching instead...haha
He is getting a little big for the swing now...he like to sit up instead and hold onto the sides
Baby boy is full time standing boy with help...I think within the next few months he will be off and going...I like this stage and want him to stay little for as long as possible
He loves to chill in his high chair when he is full and relaxed...
He also loves to be outside, here he is watching daddy do our garden
Last of all is his go to sleeping position...turned onto the tummy with his booty in the air...I probably have tons of pictures of this, I think it is such so darn cute...I love sleeping babies and the positions they get themselves into...I LOVE THIS BOY

Three Years

Where does the time go...you blink and its been a year, and then another and yet again another...there have been so many good things happen these last three years and I am grateful for so many blessings. I have a husband who is kind and loving and a baby boy who is so sweet and tender...my life is a life of learning...
Anniversary Lunch
We did not know what to do this year, we did not want to spend money as we are trying to save as much as we can right now...so we decided to spend some time on the lake. In January we went on a cruise with my work and we got to go jet skiing in the ocean. My husband seemed to have a good time and I asked him why he never went out with me when we got the jet ski out at the house and he said that he does not like it when there is a lot of people but he would like it if it was just the two of us. So that is what we did.
We decided to go out on the tube first...and we even took baby boy out on his first ride. He was so funny...he had no expression whatsoever...he just sat there...so cute

Then we got our own ride...my dad was driving; I use to love being wiped and go crazy but I definitely am more reserved now and like the gentle with a bit of scare... =)

We both water skied and then took the jet ski and went to the different lakes. My parents live on a chain of lakes and there are canals that lead to the different ones. I had never been over to Alligator Lake before so we headed there...it was a lot bigger then I thought it was and the water was so nice...very warm and calm...it looks like glass with big ripples in it, kinda like waves of glass...My sister watched baby boy for the hour or so that we were out and it ended up being very nice and relaxing.

We got back right as these clouds were coming in and within a few minutes of getting the jet ski out of the water it was pouring rain. I am so grateful that it did not storm while we were out in the middle of a different lake.
So my husband had a softball game that night as well so we went to that and then stopped at burger king on the way home. He wanted one of their original chicken sandwiches. Burger King as of later has been super horrible, I normally do not eat there but we have stopped a few times and was with my parents one time and their service was so bad and they were out of food and other things...definitely need to pick up some slack in my book if they want to stay around. It seems like they know it too as they are trying to get new things on the menu and appeal to people. Did not appeal to me tonight...we waited forever for the food and it was so funny when we got the meal, we opened up the bag and this was written on the wrapper... IT HOT...o yes, not its hot, but it hot!!! gotta love the ghetto!!!
All I wanted was a Slurpee and I got it!!! YUMMY
Baby boy did not do well when we got home...he was tired but just would not go to sleep...I ended up sitting at my desk with him and doing a jig saw puzzle...I LOVE THEM =)

Overall we had a great day and here is to many more years!!!
